Mumbai, June 15 (IBNS): Ferrari ka Sawaari, the latest film of Vidhu Vinod Chopra starring Sharman Joshi and Boman Irani that made to the theatres Friday, has gathered good response from critics, cine goers and Bollywood fraternity.
Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted: "This heartwarming, tender and sprightly film should not be missed."
Actor Aamir Khan who has earlier acted with the lead of ‘Ferrari ki sawaari’ Sharman Joshi has showered praise for this project. The actor also said: “Hope that this film goes far beyond ‘3 Idiots’.”
Wishing the team at a function, he said "am sure it will be a nice film and Sharman is a very good actor and my best wishes are with all of them."
Director Rajesh Mapuskar’s first film ‘Ferrari ka Sawaari’, was one of the awaited films among recent releases.
Aamir Khan also praised Rajesh Mapuskar as a talented person.
The story of the film centre on a little boy who thinks of nothing but cricket. The little boys father, Rusy, thinks of nothing but his little boy.
To fulfill his son’s dream of playing at Lord’s cricket ground, the honest and upright Rusy takes a reckless step. He borrows a gleaming red Ferrari. Just for one hour. The only trouble is that he doesn’t inform the car’s legendary owner. And a wild, breathless, bumpy ride begins.
Taran Adarsh reviewed the film as one of the Hindi films that are so genuine and have inherent honesty within them.
“It tugs at your heartstrings, it urges you to scrutinize oneself, and it makes you look at the world differently. Uncomplicated and unpretentious in the truest sense of the word, it's a film that wins your heart because it's such a relevant and relatable story.”
Actor Sharman Joshi (who plays the father) said the film could well be a turning point for his career.
However, he was all praise for the child actor and said he was better than everyone else.
Interestingly the Ferrari used in the film belongs to cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.
