New Delhi, July 9 (IBNS) The international crude oil price for Indian Basket as computed/published on Monday by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas decreased to US$ 97.98/barrel (bbl) on July 6.
The price was lower than US$ 99.40 /bbl on the previous trading day of July 5.
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price fall to Rs 5430.05 per bbl on July 6 from Rs 5469.98 per bbl on July 5.
This decline was marginal as rupee depreciation wiped out same of gains made from fall in price in dollar terms.
The rupee-dollar exchange rate on July 6 was Rs 55.42/US$ against Rs 55.03/US$ on July 5.
