New Delhi, Aug 11 (IBNS): Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Saturday said the fundamentals of India's economy are strong.
"Fundamentals of the economy are strong," Singh told reporters on Saturday.

Speaking on Gross domestic product (GDP), he said: "We will do better than last year."
He said the country has highest savings and investments in the world.
"We have the highest savings and investments in the world," Singh said.
Singh was looking after the finance ministry after Union Finance Ministry after Pranab Mukherjee quit.
Later, P Chidambaram was made the Union Finance Minister.
