New Delhi, Aug 16 (IBNS) The Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has reviewed international prices of crude oil and petroleum products during the first fortnight of August.
Accordingly, the under-recovery on HSD (High Speed Diesel) applicable for second fortnight of August effective Thursday is higher at Rs 13.76/litre than Rs 12.06/Litre during previous fortnight.
In case of PDS Kerosene and Domestic LPG the under-recoveries are Rs 28.54/litre and Rs 231/cylinder respectively for August (Rs 27.20/Litre and Rs 319.00/cylinder respectively for the month of July).
OMCs are currently (effective 16 August) incurring daily under-recovery of about Rs 405 crore on the sale of Diesel, PDS Kerosene and Domestic LPG.
