Kolkata, Aug 18 (IBNS): DSK Motowheels on Saturday started deliveries of its superbike The‘Big Boy’ Hyosung GT 250R in Kolkata.
On the occasion, the company's Director Shirish Kulkarni handed over the keys to the first batch of customers of GT 250 R in Kolkata after unveiling the bike.
Kulkarni said, “Kolkata is a crucial market for us strategically as the people here have a taste for luxury brands and appreciates our products and this reflects from the fact that we have got 31 bookings in mere 20 days."
"Also serves to be an important place strategically as we plan to tap the eastern region from Kolkata."
He said: "Over the last one year our superbikes have received a great response from Kolkata’s super biking community hence we are planning to open our showrooms in Bhubneshwar, Patna and Siliguri.
"And I am confident that the new product will further add excitement to the bike enthusiast fraternity in the City of Joy."
“This 250 CC product will target the bikers in mass segment who have been aspiring to buy a superbike,” he added.
Powered by a V twin-cylinder, oil-cooled 4-stroke engine, GT250R produces 27.6 Bhp of maximum power at 10000 rpm, and 22.07Nm of maximum torque at 8000 rpm.
The bike has a top speed of 140 kmph.
It has features like Double Disk Front Brakes, twin projector headlamps, upside down forks, EFI and the adjustable rear seats. It is the only 250cc bike in India with Super Sports riding position.
The GT 250R is priced at Rs. 2,77540 (ex-showroom price) and is available at DSK Motowheels Showroom dealership Kolkata Riders.
