New Delhi, July 19 (IBNS) The international crude oil price for Indian Basket as computed/published on Thursday by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas further rose to US$ 102.72/barrel (bbl) on July 18.
The price was higher than US$ 102.02/bbl on the previous trading day of July 17.
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price increased to Rs 5684.52 per bbl on July 18 from Rs 5626.40 per bbl on July 17.
This was due to increase in crude oil price in dollar terms and rupee depreciation with rupee-dollar exchange rate on July 18 at Rs 55.34 /US$ against Rs 55.15/US$ on July 17.
