Oil Price: Indian Basket rises

The price was higher than US$ 89.39/bbl on the previous trading day of June 25.

In rupee terms also, the crude oil price increase to Rs 5179.10 per bbl on June 26 from Rs 5053.22 per bbl on June 25.

This was due to increase in price in dollar terms and rupee depreciation with rupee-dollar exchange rate on June 26 at Rs 57.07 /US$ against Rs 56.53/US$ on June 25.
