New Delhi, July 27 (IBNS) The international crude oil price for Indian Basket as computed/published on Friday by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas increased to 102.32 US$ /barrel (bbl) on July 26.
The price was higher than US$ 101.09 /bbl on the previous trading day of July 25.
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price went up to Rs 5724.80 per bbl on July 26 from Rs 5699.45 per bbl on July 25.
This was due to price increase in dollar terms though it was same what moderated by rupee appreciation with rupee-dollar exchange rate on July 26 at Rs 55.95 /US$ against Rs 56.38 /US$ on July 25.
