DoT releases IM for spectrum auction

The Government has approved a reserve price of Rs.14000/- cr. for 5MHz pan-India in 1800MHz band and 1.3 times the price of 1800MHz band as reserve price for 800MHz band.

The Government also announced approval of deferred payment terms for winning bidders in the auction. It is also proposed to suitably modify tripartite agreement in UAS licence to include `spectrum`, thus facilitating financing.
