JDS ready to support UPA

Karnataka, May 18 (IBNS) Janata Dal (Secular) (JDS) leader and former Karnataka Chief Minister Hardanahalli Deve Gowda Kumaraswamy Monday said his party is ready to join the United Progressive Alliance (UPA).

“I have already discussed the matter with Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad and will also meet UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi today (Monday) over this. JD (S) will be obliged to support Congress,” Kumaraswamy said.

He further said he is concerned about the development of Karnataka.

“If Congress and JD(S) work together, we will definitely bring a vast changes in Karnataka,” he said.
