"This is the first time I took part in a fashion show... it feels nice," Ustadji said after showstopping in a white sherwani for ace designer Zubair Kirmani Wednesday night.
Ustadji's two sons- Amaan Ali Bangash, Ayaan Ali Bangash, too took the ramp with him.
Looking dazzling in balck kurtas, Amaan and Ayaan said together: "No matter how handsome we look, we can never ever match to Ustadji."
Talking about the collection, Kirmani said he kept the show 'free-flowing'.
"I didn't stick to a partcular theme for the show. I tried to keep the collection simple...it's a summer, happy collection. I used 80-90% natural fabrics and also used more colours this time," Kirmani told IBNS after the show.
"I generally do mostly men's wear, but this time I focussed more on women."
Asked about the 'not-so-conventional' look of the show, like wearing slippers with suits, Kirmani said: "That's the way people generally dress up. I tried to be more realistic. You may feel like going to a party yet not want to lock yourself in absolute formal wear. So slip into a pair of chappals and enjoy the party."
Kirmani said he is planning to tie up with shopping plazas to retail his label.
'Every one needs to grow. I am also trying to launch a home furnishing line, as well as accessories...everything is planned; just waiting for the right time," Kirmani said.
The second season of KFW II kicked off Wednesday at ITC Sonar in Kolkata. Ace designers like Neeta Lulla, Rocky S and Wendell Rodricks will be participating in the 5-day fashion extravaganza.
