India Blooms News Service

Brussels, July 19 (IBNS) North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen condemned the attack in Bulgaria and said terrorism in all forms can never be tolerated.

"I strongly condemn the outrageous terrorist attack in Burgas, which cost the lives of several people and wounded many others,"Rasmussen said in a statement.

"I offer my deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims of this shocking act."

"Terrorism in all its forms and manifestations can never be tolerated or justified," he said.

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon also condemned in “the strongest possible terms” Wednesday's deadly bombing attack on a bus carrying Israeli tourists in Bulgaria, according to Ban’s spokesperson.

“The Secretary-General expresses his condolences to the victims and their families, to the Governments and people of Bulgaria and Israel,” the spokesperson said in a statement.

According to media reports, the bus was outside of the airport of the city of Burgas when it exploded, killing at least seven and injuring more than 30 people, some critically.
