INSDAG flags off national design competition

Kolkata, Dec 15 (IBNS): The Institute for Steel Design and Growth (INSDAG) on Thursday flagged off the 12th National Competition for Students for the Best Innovative Use of Steel in Architecture to promote young talents of the nation.
The competition is open to all under graduate and post graduate students of architecture.
"Not only there is a growing need for trained young engineers and architects but also to identify the best talents in the field and reward them. Fullfilling this need, at least partially,is the objective of INSDAG's annual national level competition," Sushim Banerjee, Director General, INSDAG, said.
12 teams comprising of 40 students were selected to participate in the final round of the event.
71 teams from four zones of the country had submitted their Expression of Interest to participate in the competition.
