Kolkata, July 18 (IBNS): West Bengal Minister of Service, Sports and Transport Madan Mitra on Tuesday released 'Jodi Jantem', a book penned by Ratna Chatterjee, daughter of late writer Jarashanda, at Oxford Bookstore here.
The book, 'Jodi Jantem' published in association with Mystic Creation and Panache, deals with the realization of women from many strange, unbelievable and thrilling experiences in life due to their wrong decisions taken at the stage of immaturity.
Kolkata Mayor Sovan Chatterjee along with Mayor in Council Debashish Kumar were present at the launch.
Ratna Chatterjee, who is the daughter of eminent writer Late Jarashanda, said, "The book projects the hardship of a woman who loses the battle of life, but never bends down before the world and protects the love of her life."
Mayor Sovan Chatterjee said that Ratna Chatterjee has completed the book in January 1992 but the publication got delayed and it finally was released after a long period of 20 years.
