Kolkata, June 24 (IBNS): Ayushmann Khurrana, the debutant actor of the much acclaimed film ‘Vicky Donor’, walked as the showstopper for fashion designer Jaya Misra who launched her maiden men's wear collection here on Saturday night.
Ayushmann said on his fashion debut, “Technically this is the first time I am walking on the ramp. I hardly wear branded designer clothes, but post ‘Vicky Donor’, I am taking my fashion quotient seriously.”
Fashion designer Jaya Misra unveiled her maiden men’s wear collection ‘Nawaz’, which she said in is an array of both formal and casual wear for men.
Misra said the collection captures the fervor and flavour of the elite, interpreting the aesthetically grand, rich and classical Indian fashion poised with exotic contemporary trends.
Misra is set to make her style statement in the South Indian film industry, designing exculsive collection for the upcoming Telegu movie starring actor Balakrishna, son of NT Rama Rao.
She said, “I have always conceptualized my designs to recreate traditional Indian design extravaganza, I try to connect east and west in a unique Bohemian manner coupled with subtle sensitivity.”
