Goa minister’s daughter complains against Facebook impostor

Panaji, Apr 27 (IBNS): The daughter of a Goan minister has accused a UK-based Goan of creating a fake account on social networking website Facebook in her name while also defaming her.
Valanka Alemao, daughter of Goa Public Works Department Churchill Alemao has filed a police complaint accusing Ray Dias of using derogatory and foul language against her on Facebook.
In her complaint made to the Colva police inspector, Valanka, who is all set to plunge into State politics by contesting on Congress ticket, has said that obscene and lewd messages were being posted on the Facebook page.
Police say that the preliminary report has found that the Facebook impostor lives in Swindon, UK. A case under sections 66(A)(c), and 66(D) of the Information Technology Act has been registered against the accused.
