New Delhi, Sept 30 (IBNS) The Supreme Court on Friday cancelled the bail granted by a high court to India's alleged top tax evader Hasan Ali Khan who was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate for stashing away money in tax havens abroad and charged with money laundering.
The Bombay High Court had earlier granted him bail on Aug 12, but that was challenged by the centre. That order was then stayed by the Supreme Court.

The 53-year-old Pune businessman was arrested on Mar 7 after he was taken by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for interrogation.
Ali reportedly evaded tax worth Rs 70,000 crore.
