Mumbai, Aug 2 (IBNS): Posters of director Pooja Bhatt's erotic-thriller 'Jism 2' were removed from Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport Undertaking (BEST) buses and bus depots in Mumbai on directions of city Mayor Sunil Prabhu.
Prabhu asked the BEST authorities to remove the posters after Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) legislator Vidya Chavan wrote to him and said the posters displayed at the bus stops were obscene.
"We received a complaint from Chavan, who alleged that the posters were obscene," Prabhu told media.
"I have asked BEST general manager to remove such posters from BEST buses," he said.
'Jism 2' features adult film actor Sunny Leone and will hit the theatres on Friday.
