New Delhi, July 5 (IBNS): Arrested key plotter of 2008 Mumbai attacks Abu Jundal, is likely to presented in court on Thursday with the investigators likely to seek an extension of his remand.
Jundal, who was arrested by the Delhi police's Special Cell, is likely to be presented in the capital's Tees Hazari Court as his 15-day police custody ends on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) operative’s custody has also been sought by several other agencies including Mumbai's crime branch, the Anti Terrorism Squads of Maharashtra and Pune, the Gujarat and the West Bengal police along with the National Investigating Agency (NIA).
Sayeed Zabiuddin Ansari, also known as Abu Hamza and Abu Jundal, who has confessed to be among the six men tasked with guiding the ten Pakistani terrorists during the three-day-attack on Mumbai, was arrested at Delhi airport on June 21 on his arrival from Saudi Arabia.
