Srinagar, July 10 (IBNS): A Hizbul Mujahideen commander was killed during a gun-battle with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Ganderbal district, police said on Tuesday.
The militant identified as Ghulam Nabi War was killed during a gunfight with the security personnel of the state police and the 24 Rashtriya Rifles at Palpora village.
According to the police, War was operating in the area for the past six years.
He was the district commander of banned terrorist organization Hizbul Mujahideen.
