Panaji, Aug 18 (IBNS) The Anti Corruption Branch (ACB) of Goa Police on Saturday registered a case against unidentified government officials for allotting lands to seven major companies in the state, to set up Special Economic Zones in Verna.
Deputy General Manager, Goa Industries Development Corporation Mandar Shirodkar alleged in his complaint letter that the lands were illegally allotted to the companies between year 2006 and 2007.
The lands were allowed to beneficiaries M/s Meditab Specialties Pvt. Ltd., M/s Peninsula Pharma Research Centre Pvt. Ltd., M/s K Raheja Corporation Pvt. Ltd., M/s Paradigam Logistics and Distribution Pvt. Ltd., M/s Inox Mercantile Co. Pvt. Ltd., M/s Planetview Mercantile Co. Pvt. Ltd. and M/s Maxgrow Finlease Pvt. Ltd.
