Bangalore, July 19 (IBNS): Yoga guru Baba Ramdev said Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi can become the Prime Minister of India if he is successful in bringing back the black money stashed abroad and also fight corruption.
"It is for sure that millions of people will like to have Rahul Gandhi as the permanent Prime Minister if he brings back black money stashed abroad besides eradicating corruption completely," Ramdev told reporters here.
He said if Rahul is not successful in bringing back black money from abroad then a face-off will take place between the government and the people who are against the corrupt system.
He said if the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government fails to fulfill the demands made by the yoga guru then he will ask people to boycott the Congress both politically and socially.
"We will ask people not to vote for the ruling alliance and especially the Congress in the next general elections. They have betrayed the nation by not taking actions against black money holders," said Ramdev.
Ramdev will start a nationwide agitation in demand of strong action against corruption from August 9 at Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi.
