Mumbai, May 25 (IBNS): Trouble seems to grow for India's main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), as senior leader Sushma Swaraj is likely to skip a key rally organized by the party here on Friday, media reports said.
Reports on Sushma's possible miss to the rally came hours after BJP patriarch LK Advani's decision to skip it was brought into limelight by certain sections of the media.
The rally will be organized by the BJP after the National Executive meet on Friday.
According to BJP sources, Advani is annoyed with the party's current state of affairs.
He is also unhappy with former Karnataka Chief Minister and senior BJP leader BS Yeddyurappa.
Advani is likely to curtail his Mumbai visit and return to New Delhi.
The National Executive meet witnessed tremendous drama on Thursday over the participation of Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP leader Narendra Modi.
Modi's participation in the meet dragged attentions on Thursday as the leader decided to attend it only after his long-time rival Sanjay Joshi resigned from the party body.
Modi, who was upset with the reinstatement of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Sanjay Joshi in the BJP and his expected presence at the national congregation, was set to skip the meet and instead visit Udaipur in Rajasthan.
