India test-fires Brahmos supersonic cruise missile

The missile, which was test fired at around 11:22 am, has the capacity of carrying conventional warhead of 200 to 300 kg.

It has a flight range of up to 290 km.

It was test fired on Wednesday as a part of a user trial by the Indian Army.
