New Delhi, Aug 29 (IBNS) Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi is being favoured above Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) patriarch LK Advani as the party's choice for the next Indian Prime Minister, said a "mid-term poll survey" by NDTV.
Modi scores twice as high as runner-up Advani in the survey.
The survey said a big chunk of 42% of respondents believe that Modi should be the BJP's for the PM's post, while 23% are in favour of Advani, 20% for Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj and others get 15% votes.
"Not surprisingly, Gujarat and Rajasthan are keenest on Modi as the BJP's choice for PM," said the NDTV survey.
Modi got 85% and 62% votes in his favour from Gujarat and Rajasthan respectively, while he got 27% approval from Orissa and 31% from Bihar.
The poll was carried out in 125 constituencies spread over 18 states (these account for over 20% of the 543 Lok Sabha seats).
BJP can win only if they all accept Modi as their candidate for Prime Minister post. The soon they realise this, the better it is for BJP. I will vote for BJP only if they declare modi as their Prime Minister candidate

If Modi is the PM candidate, then be sure that BJP will win single handedly without its NDA partners.
