Guwahati, June 30 (IBNS) : A hardcore militant of Karbi People’s Liberation Tigers (KPLT) was apprehended by security forces in Assam’s Karbi Anglong district on Friday, police said on Saturday.
“Acting on a tip-off, a joint team of police and army had launched a search operation at Manja area in the hill district and nabbed the militant,” said a police official of Karbi Anglong.
The nabbed militant was identified as Rajen Teron.
Security forces recovered 200 rounds of live ammunition and some documents from his possession.
