New Delhi, July 3 (IBNS) India's dashing opener Virender Shewag, in his bid to make a comeback to the national team, said 'wait and watch' Tuesday on the eve of the announcement of the squad for the tour to Sri Lanka.
Sehwag, who was nursing a shoulder injury, said he has been assessed by physios at the National Cricket Academy.
"I have been to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) where I have gone through fitness test. The report of the physios will be submitted to the selection committee. Let's wait and watch," Sehwag told mediapersons on the sidelines of a promotional event for FILA.
Sehwag also said that he would have specially designed shoes by FILA for the Sri Lanka tour.
"Cricket career is a short one and I would like to do as many endorsements as possible in this span," he said.
