London, July 6 (IBNS): Indian Tennis star Leander Paes and his mixed doubles partner Elena Vesnina of Russia moved to the semi-final round of the Wimbledon by defeating Paul Hanley of Australia and Russia's Alla Kudryavtseva here on Friday.
Paes, Vesnina defeated their opponents by 6-2 6-2 to reach the semi- final round of the tournament.
The match lasted for 57 minutes.
Meanwhile, Swiss Tennis star Roger Federer defeated Serbian Novak Djokovic by 6-3, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 margin in the crucial semi- final clash to storm to the final of the men's singles event on Friday.
Federer will meet UK's Andy Murray in the final clash.
Murray defeated Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France in the other semi-final on Friday to reach the final of the tournament.
Murray defeated his opponent by 6-3 6-4 3-6 7-5 margin on Friday.
