India avoid follow-on make 477/4

Colombo, July 29 (IANS) India avoided a follow on and scored 477 for four in the first innings, in reply to Sri Lanka's 642 for four declared, at lunch on the fourth day of the second cricket Test here Thursday.
Suresh Raina scored a century on debut and he was batting on 112 and Sachin Tendulkar was on 152 at the lunch break at the Sinhalese Sports Club ground.
