SADANAND GOWDA QUITS, SHETTAR IS NEW CM

The BJP on Sunday made a formal announcement regarding the change of guard in Karnataka. BJP chief Nitin Gadkari announced that Sadananda Gowda has submitted his resignation as the chief minister of Karnataka and his resignation has been accepted. Gadkari also announced that Jagadish Shettar would take over as the new chief minister of Karnataka.
