Green Tribunal suspends Posco___s environmental clearance


Bhubneshwar, March 30 (ANI): The National Green Tribunal, today suspended the environmental clearance granted to Posco___s mega steel project, in Odisha. The suspension remains valid till the environment ministry reviews it afresh. Shankar Gopala Krishnan, Secretary, Campaign for survival & dignity welcomed the Tribunal___s decision. Meanwhile, commenting on the Tribunal___s decision, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said that the orders would be looked upon, as soon as they are received by the state Government.
