Regional trading platform KITE launched in Bengali

Kolkata, Feb 12 (IBNS): English being a very restrictive tongue and not fluently accustomed to many native Indian traders, ZERODHA, an online brokerage firm, recently announced the launching of its web based trading portal KITE in Bengali.

ZERODHA has its support office in Kolkata, which helps in offering localize services for its clients and also to educate them on innovative initiatives regularly from ZERODHA.

KITE is a web based trading platform that can  be easily adapted to mobile phones and tablets.

Speaking on the issue, Nithin Kamath, Founder & CEO-ZERODHA said, “ The investment culture has to be nurtured, and we intend to do this not just by offering a zero brokerage investing platform but an extremely easy user experience in KITE Bengali. Our plan is to reach out to the next 5 million participants who are currently not investing and show them how stock market can create wealth if invested for long term.”

KITE is  integrated with an advanced high technological analytics and visualization platform, called “Quant”, which helps traders to understand their trading and to make informed investment decisions.

On being asked about its reason behind launching of the regional trading platform, Shubhayu Bhol, Associate Vice President, Sales- ZERODHA, told IBNS: “Language which was considered to be a barrier for trading or investing community will no longer create any hindrance. It would rather attract too many Bengali clients, ensure seamless access to markets and would also enunciate faster efficiency”.
