Anti Leprosy Day: JP Nadda urges people to raise awareness

New Delhi, Jan 30 (IBNS): Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda urged citizens to spread awareness about leprosy on Anti Leprosy Day.

The minister took to Twitter to spread his message.

"This #AntiLeprosyDay let us all pledge to spread awareness regarding therapeutic & rehabilitative options available for lepers," his tweet read.

A tweet from the official account of the Ministry of Health read, "#Leprosy is transmitted via nose/mouth droplets during close & frequent contact with untreated cases. #NationalAntiLeprosyDay #SwasthaBharat'
