Another rhino poached in Kaziranga

Guwahati, June 29 (IBNS): Poachers killed another one horned rhinoceros in Assam's Kaziranga National Park on Sunday night, officials said.

Poachers had managed to flee with its horn.

Forest guards of the National Park had found dehorned bullet injuries carcass of male rhino near Kathalchang forest camp under Burhapahar range inside the park on Monday morning.

"Poachers had killed the rhino and chopped off its horn, " a top official of the park said.

Poachers killed at least 12 rhinos alone in Kaziranga in this year so far.
