Genext Students launches services in Pune

Following its Pune launch, Genext Students, India’s first hybrid tutoring platform which connects parents with the best home tutors for their children, endeavored to shed light on this idea to all the potential home & private tutors in the city through an interactive workshop for– ‘Maximizing Your Potential’ at Sheraton Grand Bundh Garden Hotel, Pune.

The event witnessed Ali Asgar Kagzi (Co-Founder), Mr. Asad Daud (Co-Founder), Piyush Dhanuka (Product Head), Nishita Patel (Academic Head), Shashank Patel (Marketing Head) and Abhijeet Sathapathy (Operations Head) providing the company information to the audiences as well as imparting good class management techniques from the perspective of building their entrepreneurial career.

At Genext Students, the aim is to empower neighbourhood tutors with secured job opportunities and offer them a steady income stream.

This one-of-its-kind platform brings quality home tutors along with proprietary content (online & offline) to the doorstep of parents/students using technology as a key driver. It enables an enhanced way of delivering private coaching with the best of technology. Genext Tutors App, with its technological features, is made available to the tutors and the parents combining the best of private tutoring with technology-enabled learning for CBSE, ICSE & State Boards. It also empowers educators & tutors to become entrepreneurs, and in turn, leads to the creation of a wave of ‘TUTORPRENEURS’ across the country.

The workshop ‘Maximizing Your Potential’ emphasized on the hidden potential of the tutors and on finding ways through which they could use that potential at its optimum best. The attendee list of the workshop included people from various walks of life like housewives, retired personnel and other skilled job seekers looking for an alternate career who participated in the interactive workshop with great enthusiasm. The event started with a brain teaser activity that focused on enhancing concentration, logical reasoning and thinking skills. The Genext Students team encouraged the tutors to use them during their tutoring assignments, besides demonstrating every technological feature of the Genext Tutor App and the overall product functioning in details. The team also invited feedback on the same.

Ali Asgar Kagzi, Co-founder and Director, Genext Students commented, “It was a delight to see all the tutors enthusiastically expressing their views and experiences of being a part of Genext Students. As India’s education system becomes increasingly competitive and examination-oriented, the demand for private tuition and tutors is becoming more persistent, which makes it crucial for them to tap the digital opportunity as well. Everyone who was present at the event today agreed that technology has brought a boom in the educational space and they seemed impressed with the design and features of Genext Tutor App and agreed that even a lesser tech-savvy tutor can use the app easily. What they loved the most about our app was the convenience of choosing the locality of their choice, the easy-to-use tech tools and full-fledged digital reference material.”
