Mumbai, Jan 15 (IBNS): Inspite of controversies, the Godfather of EDM, David Guetta kept his date with India and the organizers of the tour Percept Live ensured a glitch free global experience.

Party goers wearing David Guetta t-shirts packed the venue as the world’s topmost DJ, David Guetta, rocked the dance floor with his textural, hyper-melodic and candy bright beats.

The French producer created a culturally nostalgic arena show of laser webs and kitsch retro visuals deploying chart-busting choruses that breathed their way into steam-hammer beats.

The Paris-born Guetta, who is known for his show stopping fusion of dance and electro-pop music set the arena on fire with his mind-altering electronic beats.

Adding to the party atmosphere was an LED screen flashing titles of Guetta’s hits accompanied by a spectacular fusion of multi-colored psychedelic laser lights that matched each tune.

The smile that was on David’s face at the start of his set grew even bigger as he waved to the crowd and pumped his fists in the air, grateful and happy for the overwhelming reception.

The 49-year-old DJ who has visited India more than 5 times in the past performed for over 90 minutes.

The support acts in Hyderabad included Anish Sood while Mumbai saw The Unknown, Anish Sood, Nina Malika and Zaeden and New Delhi had Anish Sood and Arsh who set the mood for his act.

The hitmaker played songs like Hey Mama, Titanium, Sexy Bitch, Dont Worry Child and Without You.

The crowd saw diverse cliques from college students to socialites to business icons to fashionistas.  Indeed, only Guetta, the man responsible for taking dance music to dizzying heights, could have converged such a diverse group of people seemingly united by one goal- to unwind and party!

After having sold millions of albums and singles  worldwide, it’s wonderful to see the celebrated DJ act so humble and appreciative, gestures that will surely earn him even more fans.  After hours of cheering, squealing, bopping, grooving,  and screaming, Guetta treated party philes from all walks of life to a magical journey, full of unforgettable dance hits

David Guetta states, "It’s takes a price to party. It has been such a beautiful journey and I am grateful that Sunburn has finally made the impossible possible. A big thank you to my fans for their constant support as I could have never done all of this without you. Thank you so much India, I love you and I will return soon.”

Karan Singh, CEO, Sunburn states, "We have created global history today by achieving something that we have never done in our 10 year history of the brand. We would like to thank the authorities, the artists, all our partners and most importantly the fans for their incredible love and dedicated support. We lived up to our commitment of delivering two shows on a single day and not upsetting our fans. 2017 will be the biggest year for Sunburn."

The Grammy winner performed at Sunburn Arena Tour at Hitex Exhibition Center, Hyderabad on the 14th and played two shows on the 15th at Jio Gardens, Mumbai and Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi .

Playing to a full house in every city, the tour set a perfect precedent in the live entertainment business. Sunburn is one of the world’s top three electronic dance music festivals that is responsible for curating the David Guetta tour.
