President wishes people of Madagascar on eve of National Day

New Delhi, June 25 (IBNS) President Pranab Mukherjee on Saturday extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Republic of Madagascar on the eve of their National Day.

In a message Hery Rajaonarimampianina, the President of the Republic of Madagascar, Mukhejree said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it is with immense pleasure that I convey to you warm greetings and felicitations on the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Madagascar."

"India and Madagascar enjoy cordial relations. I am confident that our long tradition of friendship and cooperation will expand and strengthen in the years to come," he said.

"I take this opportunity to extend to Your Excellency my good wishes for your personal well-being and for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of Madagascar," Mukherjee said.
