PM condoles loss of lives in Andhra Pradesh mishap

New Delhi, Apr 21 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday condoled the loss of lives due to an accident in Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh.

“Pained by the loss of lives due to an accident in AP’s Chittoor District. Condolences to families of the deceased and prayers with the injured,” the Prime Minister said.

A truck driver lost control and hit an electric pole before ploughing the vehicle into a group of protesters, cars and shops at Yerpedu area of Andhra Pradesh, killing at least 20 people.

The incident left several others injured.
