Centre will continue fight against corruption and black money : Modi

Guwahati, May 26 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that his fight against corruption and black money will be continued.

While addressing a public meeting held at Khanapara in Guwahati on the marks of three years completion of the BJP-led NDA government in centre and one year completion of the state government,  PM Modi said that, everyone wants the nation to be free from grasps of corruption and we will continue our fight against corruption and black money.

"The law against benami properties came up in 1988, but in past 28 years no one notified it or made any rules," Modi said.

PM Modi said that,  his government want to increase double income of the farmers by 2022.

"My government's priority is farmers. We want to increase the income of our farmers to double through Sampada Yojana. We also want to increase the agricultural production," Modi said.

Addressing the nation from the huge gathered meeting on the marks of the NDA government, Modi thanked the people of India who made Swachhata a mass movement and also expressed gratitude media for playing a major rule in cleanliness.

Modi further said that for the first time his government has taken a step to uplift the  Other Backward Classes people and the OBC commission has been already passed.

PM Modi said that, his government has introduced several schemes to empower the poor people.

"Our aim is to ensure affordable health for all," Modi said.

"Now no Kala Dhan,  only Jan dhan. Our government is pro-poor, pro-people. In last three years, my government has given foremost priority to trusting the people of the nation,"Modi said.

"Note ban was a difficult move and I am still criticised for it. But for this move, lots of black money had come out," Modi said.

Modi urged the people of the nation to join him to make a New India by 2022, when the nation to celebrate its 75th year of Independence.
