Russian Superheroes to storm the Indian Box Office on Feb 24

Mumbai, Feb 10 (IBNS): Following the Indo-Russian cultural pact sealed in October last year, the first Russian film to have a day and date release in India along with the world; will be a superhero action extravaganza titled Guardians -The Superheroes

The film is directed by Armenian director, Sarik Andreasyan, known for Russian films, such as The Earthquake, Mafia and American independent film- American Heist. Guardians-The Superheroes stars Russian actors Alina Lanina, Sebastien Sisak, Sanzhar Madiyev and Anton Pampushnyy. Touted as one of the biggest superhero films internationally and in the same league as Hollywood superhero franchises, the film will release in India on 24th February in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages.

The first look and trailer for the India release was unveiled today on digital platforms. The trailer will be screened across leading multiplex chains from Feb. 3rd onwards.

The film is set during the Cold War when a team of superheroes created in a secret lab gather to save the world from the villainous maniac August Kuratov and prevent nuclear disaster.

This superhero squad consists of four characters, each conceived with a unique super power that makes them super human and push the envelope as far as superhero action, CGI work and powerful VFX go. It will be a visual treat for all fans of the superhero action genre in India.
