Gwadar, Jan 15 (IBNS): China has handed over two ships to the Pakistan Navy in an attempt to provide joint security along the sea route of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), media reports said.

On Saturday, the Chinese vessels were handed over to the Commander of the Pakistan Navy Vice-Admiral Arifullah Hussaini, Dawn reported.

Recently built in China, the ships will be part of the Pakistani navy.
