Afghanistan: Counter terrorism operation kills at least 12 ISIS militants
Kabul, May 1 (IBNS): At least 12 ISIS militants have been killed during a recent counter terrorism operation in Afghanistan's Nangarhar province, local Khaama Press reported.
The operation was carried out by the Afghan military in the province's Achin district.
A DShK gun, belonging to the militants, was also destroyed during the operation.
Counter terrorism operations were started a month ago by the local government to counter the growing ISIS threat.
