Afghanistan: At least 19 Taliban militants killed
Kabul, Jan 10 (IBNS): At least 19 Taliban militants have been killed by Afghan law enforcers in separate incidents in Helmand province, local Khaama Press reported.
The agency quoted Afghan Ministry of Defence as sating that at least 14 militants were killed in Girishk district, while five others were killed in Garmsir district of the province.
The operations also injured 10 militants and destroyed a number of artillery and vehicles belonging to the Taliban.
The Taliban is yet to comment on the report.
