Dismissed BSP constable Tej Bahadur Yadav knocks at Supreme Court door

New Delhi, May 6 (UNI) Dismissed Border Security Force (BSF) constable, Tej Bahadur Yadav, on Monday knocked at the Supreme Court door against rejection of his nomination papers by the Varanasi Lok Sabha election office.

The apex court is yet to take up the matter.

Lawyer Prashant Bhushan is appearing for the sacked BSF jawan, Tej Bahadur Yadav.

It is to be noted that Bhushan will mention the matter before the SC registrar on Monday for urgent listing into the case.

Yadav challenged the rejection of his nomination papers as a Samajwadi Party (SP) candidate against the BJP candidate Narendra Modi from the Varanasi Lok Sabha Constituency.

His nominated papers were rejected as a result of which, he had moved the SC for relief.
