New Delhi, Feb 4 (IBNS): Ailing Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Monday spread special message on the occasion of World Cancer Day when he wrote on Twitter that “human mind can overcome any disease”.

Parrikar is currently admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi.

He is reportedly suffering from a pancreatic ailment.

The former Defence Minister even went to the US for treatment last year.

"Human mind can overcome any disease. #WorldCancerDay," Manohar Parrikar tweeted.

Senior BJP leader LK Advani and Congress president Rahul Gandhi had earlier met him in Goa to inquire about his health.
