New Delhi: Renowned singer Sonu Nigam recently visited veteran BJP leader LK Advani at his residence in Delhi.

The singer, who was in the capital for Delhi Technological University’s (DTU) Engifest 2025, extended his stay to spend time with Advani and his daughter, Pratibha Advani.

Sharing moments from the visit on Instagram, Sonu posted a series of pictures with Advani and Pratibha, reflecting on his long-standing bond with the family.

"Roots Revisited (3/4) - 24th March, 2025. Pratibha Advani and L K Advani ji have been a part of my life for a very long time, and that's why I decided to stay an extra day after my DTU concert to have lunch with them," he wrote.

Sonu also expressed his deep connection to Sindhi culture, recalling how his mother grew up among Sindhis.

"Sindhi food has been a major part of our childhood. Pratibha knows it, and that’s why she very sweetly cooked Sindhi Kadi for me besides Dal Pakvaan," he added.

The post also featured LK Advani, now 97, watching clips of Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin from Agneepath (2012), a song sung by Sonu Nigam that continues to be a fan favourite.
