Thunderstorm with lighting likely to occur in Telangana, North Coastal AP: Met warns

Hyderabad/UNI: Thunderstorm and lightning are likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana on April 13, 14, 15 and 16, Meteorological Centre warned on Sunday.

In a bulletin here, it also warned of thunderstorm and lighting at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 24 hours.

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana during the next five days, in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 48 hours and in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours, the bulletin said.

Rainfall occurred at isolated places in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and dry weather prevailed in Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours.

The highest temperature of 40.2 degrees Celsius was recorded at Badrachalam of Telangana and 39.9 degrees Celsius recorded at Kurnool of Andhra Pradesh during the same period, the bulletin added.
