Kolkata, Nov 25 (IBNS): Arvind Limited, a Lifestyle and Apparel Major in the country, has announced expansion plans for its premium fabric brand 'Tresca'.
The brand will not only see new seasonal collection, but will also have increased presence both in domestic and overseas markets.

“We have around 100 multi brand outlets (MBOs) in West Bengal, and feel bullish to take this number to 400 MBOs by March 2017. In addition to this, our brand Tresca will also have its presence in Bangladesh. This is only testimony to the overwhelming response that we have received in last two months," said Susheel Kaul, CEO- Lifestyle Fabrics (Shirting, Khaki & Knitwear) Arvind Limited.

Arvind had announced aggressive plans for the brand Tresca two months back.

As part of this program, multiple product launches were lined up to cover the entire range of man’s fashion wear and an expansion plan to reach out to 10,000 outlet and even enter overseas markets.

After the runaway success of Tresca’s Autumn Winter 2015, the shirting range will now see bigger print designs bouquet for Spring Summer 2016 collection, which is to be launched in January 2016.

“TRESCA is the only Premium and Luxury brand in the market to come with a print collection as other brands in this category are only limited to yarn dyed product offerings. This innovation in product offerings is appealing to consumers and it is well reflected from the rapid 25% growth in Tresca’s network in a very short time period," said Shridhar Soni, (Head-Sales and Marketing Arvind DTR business).

“We aim to double the reach every six months for next 1.5-2 years span. The range of product offerings has also increased. In addition to this, soon after Bangladesh, we will pursue entry into Middle East and Sri Lankan market with the Tresca product line,” added Soni.

Arvind recently launched premium fabrics like Immaculate and Cotton Tencel and a whole range of print shirting on Giza cotton and Linen base. Also, the entry into Bangladesh is in line with the channel partner chosen for marketing of Tresca that has deep reach in the Bangladesh market. With, back to back product launches and vast distribution reach, Arvind expects Tresca revenue to double in couple of years.
