Currency ban: Sensex tumbles 1000 points
Mumbai, Nov 9 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi's unexpected decision to ban 500 and 1000 Indian Rupee notes saw the Sensex nosedive 1000 points on Wednesday, reports said.
The Sensex also recorded an all time low on daily percentage loss since August 2015.
Experts have also said that the cause was aided by Donald Trump's lead in the US Presidential Polls.
In his 40-minute speech on Tuesday evening, PM Modi justified his decision as a move to curb black money.
