GENLEAP launches DNA-based self-discovery, upskilling and employability platform

New Delhi/IBNS: The Gurugram-based edtech and human resource technology company GENLEAP launched an upskilling and employability platform Thursday.

The platform will be providing a unique DNA-based self-discovery,upskilling and employability complete career lifecycle management platform. 

North East Delhi MP Manoj Tiwari graced the occasion as a chief guest.

According to the company, the platform is a unique one for career lifecycle management - with a novel approach to assessment and a commitment that aspirants develop the required competency, knowledge, and skills to find a meaningful career, and live a fulfilled life.

The platform’s proprietary assessments are based on a unique triangulation utilizing a person's Genomics, Psychometrics, and Cognitive Astromancy leads to the discovery of an individual’s natural disposition and nurturing potential, the company said.

MP Manoj Tiwari noted that proper guidance at the right age and lack of employable skills is keeping graduates from landing jobs and affecting their happiness.

"I am excited to learn about the product offering by GENLEAP which bases self-discovery of an individual on DNA based approach amongst other sciences. I sincerely believe that armed with this self-discovery, it will bring about a revolution for suitable employment of the youth," Tiwari said. 

It is equally important that the Corporates led CSR funds can provide opportunities of this unique self-discovery to people in the hinterlands of the country as well, which I am sure will lead to converting demographic dividend of the country into a true skill dividend, he added.

Talking about the platform launch, Co-Founders – Sachin Sandhir, Nimish Gupta, Nitin Thakur, Shweta Kataria stated that “It is a day of immense pride for us to launch GENLEAP, and we intend to make a difference to the lives of the next generation of children and professionals by addressing the challenges of discovery, skilling, and employability."

With pathbreaking research and innovation at the fore, GENLEAP has partnered with Karmagenes (Switzerland) to pursue further pioneering research in use of Genomics and Genetic Psychology to augment its offering in Self-discovery, the company said.

GENLEAP aspires to play a major role in the growth of Ed-tech and HR-tech market, which is currently valued at US$ 700-800 mn. 

There has been a US$ 4 bn in PE funding for the Ed-tech segment in the last five years (50% of this in the last 12 months) and is projected to grow to US$ 10 bn by 2025 and US$ 30 bn by 2032.

The recruitment market is currently pegged at US$ 6 bn in India (2018) and is projected to grow to US$ 20 bn by 2025. 

The assessment services market globally was pegged at US$ 6.5 bn with a traditional psychometric-based approach and is projected to grow to US$ 11.5 bn by 2027.
